Being a newbie to Technical analysis I found this book very knowledgable. It covers the basics of Technical analysis includes, Dow Theory, Chart formations, Continuation , Reversal patterns, using indicators like MACD, MA, .. It also covers Oscillators, Elliot Wave theory, Money Management, Risk analysis, and so on. I would recommend this book as one of the references for basics on Technical Analysis.
